Announcements
  • COVID-19

    Dear FBC, Stonewall,

In an abundance of caution, we have decided to again suspend attendance to worship services and only offer our online Facebook Live service.

Some attendees in last Sunday’s Service (July 5th) have tested positive for Covid 19. To reduce the potential exposure to the virus, this Sunday’s (12th) service will be broadcast on facebook live only, and will not have in-person attendance.

Please continue to follow CDC guidelines - wear masks and practice social distancing - to protect your family. If you have or develop any of the known symptoms of the virus it is advisable to contact your physician.

Pray for our church family and those that may have been exposed. As always, feel free to reach out to the deacons if we can help your family with anything.

  • JP Williams

Our Pastor Search committee has asked Brother JP Williams, his wife Vicki, and his children to come this weekend in view of a call to be our next pastor! Attached is some information about the family and schedule for Sunday.
    • 11 am – Worship service (in person and live on Facebook) with JP preaching
    • 4:30 pm – Ice Cream Social in the fellowship hall to meet and greet JP and Vicki and children. Please call or email Susan Mills at 580-559-9055 if you can bring ice cream or a cake so we can be sure to have enough.
    • 6:00 pm – Worship service (in person only, NO Facebook Live) with JP and Vicki giving testimonies and answering questions
    • Immediately following evening worship, we will have a business meeting to vote to approve the search committee’s recommendation.
    • If you watch the service on Facebook live and want to cast a ballot, a deacon should be in touch with you this week with information.

The prayer committee has asked us all to join in prayer this Thursday, June 11, asking for God’s guidance as we meet JP and family and for discernment of His will for our next pastor. Please join us in this prayer any time, any place, on Thursday.
