30+ years of ministry now brings me back to FBC, Stonewall as of 1/1/09 after a 20 year stretch of serving 2 churches in Amarillo, TX.  I am so glad to return to the church that first loved me and taught the primary goal of just 'loving people' and 'preaching the Word.'  As we settle into the church and the community, we are renewing past friendships and embracing new ones. The future is bright for FBC, Stonewall as willing people assume leadership roles and continue the task of making this church a 'significant' part of this community and reaching out in the world through personal ministries and the support of existing ones.  Give me a call @ 580-559-9953 or email me so we can get acquainted. If you're looking for a church home, I can highly recommend FBC, Stonewall as a place to belong and to be challenged spiritually.

What a joy to be back at FBC Stonewall serving as worship leader.  Some may not know that not only did I grow up in this church, but I also served as worship leader once before in the late 90's.  The folks in this church hold a special place in my heart.  My goal when leading worship is to do my very best to experience worshipping our Lord on a personal level so others may be led to worship Him also.  Our three children, Brian, Heather & Laura have all married fine spouses and Rhonda & I are experiencing the empty nest syndrome.  We think it might be nice!!  God has also allowed us to live in the country again and we are enjoying His nature & doing "Owl Creek" sort of things like gardening, fishing and having a big yeller dog named Clancey.  We also enjoy walking & biking in the fresh air.  FBC is such an awesome church to be a member of and my prayer is that we can reach the entire Stonewall community with the love of Christ.
